Outward video first
B.C. Bill M-217 and most fleet safety programs require road-facing video. Outward lenses do not record the cab interior — they document the road for compliance and claims.
Inward recording is optional
Driver-facing lenses support coaching and exoneration but require clear fleet policy. ValenCam allows configurable or disabled inward recording.
Driver communication
We provide leave-behind materials in English and 中文 explaining what is recorded, when, and how clips are used. Review with legal counsel before mandating inward cameras.
